By working with me or contacting me for UX/UI design or related creative services, you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before starting any project.
1. Services Overview
1.1 UX/UI and Design Services
UX/UI design for web and mobile platforms.
Website and app interface design (design only, no development unless explicitly agreed).
Design systems, components, and style guides.
Brand and visual direction related to digital products.
Creative assets (UI elements, design mockups, prototypes).
1.2 Project-Based Services
Work is normally conducted on a project basis.
Each project includes a clear scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing agreed in writing.
Revision limits and specific terms are defined in the project proposal or quote.
2. Service Terms
2.1 Project Start
A project begins only after:
Scope and deliverables are agreed in writing.
Required deposit/payment is received.
All necessary starting materials (brief, content, assets) are provided by the Client.
2.2 Project Timeline
Timelines depend on scope, feedback speed, and complexity.
Delays in providing feedback or approvals may extend the timeline.
Rush requests may include additional fees, agreed in advance.
3. Scope of Work
3.1 Included Services
Lightweight UX research based on available information.
Wireframes, user flows, and interface layouts.
High-fidelity screens and design systems.
Figma prototypes (when included in scope).
Handover files for developers (specs and assets).
3.2 Excluded Services
Full-stack development or coding.
Copywriting or content writing.
Professional photography or 3D rendering.
Marketing strategy, SEO, or ad campaigns.
Ongoing maintenance after project completion.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 Required Materials
The Client agrees to provide:
Clear project brief and goals.
Brand guidelines (logo, colors, fonts).
Final text/copy and high-quality images.
Access to relevant tools or existing design files.
4.2 Communication
Feedback should be provided within 2–3 business days.
Revision requests must be clear and specific.
A single point of contact should be nominated for approvals.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Rights and Ownership
Full rights to use final designs are transferred only after full payment is received.
Preliminary concepts and unused drafts remain my property.
I retain the right to showcase the work in my portfolio unless an NDA is signed.
5.2 Legal Clearance & Source Files
The Client is responsible for trademarks and legal clearances of their content.
Delivery formats (Figma, PNG, PDF) will be specified in the scope.
Editable source files may require additional fees if not in the original quote.
6. Revisions and Changes
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds.
Revisions are for refining the agreed direction, not changing it completely.
Major changes or new features will be treated as "Scope Changes" and quoted separately.
7. Payments
7.1 Project Payments
50% Deposit: Required to start the project.
50% Balance: Due before delivery of final files.
Work may be paused if payment is significantly delayed.
7.2 Methods
Payment methods and currency will be agreed upon before starting.
Transfer fees are the Client’s responsibility.
8. Cancellation and Termination
Client Cancellation: Initial deposit is non-refundable; payment for all work completed is required.
My Right to End: I may terminate the project for lack of feedback, non-payment, or disrespectful behavior.
9. Confidentiality & Liability
Confidentiality: Both parties agree to protect sensitive business information.
Limitation of Liability: Total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific project.
Results: I do not guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g., sales or signups).
